The expertise and high standards of
Physicians’ Advocates is reflected in our record. The firm has achieved a successful result in over 80 percent of the appellate matters we have undertaken. Such success is highly unusual, especially considering these cases have involved millions of dollars and frequently have raised novel or complex questions of law. We are proud of our winning record, which reflects our strong advocacy skills and the care we give to advising clients on when and how best to invoke appellate remedies.

Recognizing that when injustices arise they often need immediate redress, especially by writ, the firm manages its caseload and staffing so as to allow for a quick response when immediate appellate review is necessary. We pride ourselves on our "911 service" for trial lawyers, providing a rapid research and briefing service for extraordinary memoranda or trial briefs on issues that arise just before or during trial. In addition, a writ specialist is always available for emergency consultation.

Physicians’ Advocates is committed to offering our clients the kind of legal resources and support available from the largest law firms while maintaining a comfortable, efficient, and cost-effective appellate practice. We have assembled a strong team to serve our clients, recognizing that, in the end, the success of appellate advocacy depends on the skills, resources and creativity of the appellate expert.
